AP EAMCET Exam dates are usually announced in January each year through publication of notification in news papers. Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted for admission of students in various professional courses offered in colleges (Government and Private) of Andhra Pradesh.
In order to take this Test, you should be an Indian National and must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
Qualifying Exam for the Test in Engineering , Pharmacy (MPC) Course: You must have passed or appeared in the 12th standard exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A minimum 45% marks for general category (40 % for reserved category students) in the subjects specified taken together.
You are also eligible if you have appeared/passed the final year Diploma exam in Engineering, conducted by the State Board of Technical education and Training, Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying Exam for the Test in Medical and Agriculture courses: You must have passed or appeared in the 12th standard exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botani + Zoology)/ Bio Tchnology. For MBBS & BDS Courses – A minimum 50% marks for general category (40 % for reserved category students) in the subjects specified taken together.
Age limit: There is minimum and maximum age limit is specified for various courses.
For Engineering , Pharmacy course you should have completed 16 years as age on 31st December.
For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), you should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December. Upper age- 22yrs (25 yrs for reserved category)
For Medical courses like MBBS / BAMS /BDS / BHMS / BNYS, you should have completed 17 years of age.
Registration/ Application Form
For filling the AP EAMCET Application Form you are required to visit the official website www.apeamcet.org. You have to pay the registration fee either through AP-Online or using your Credit/Debit card.You will receive a transaction ID. After payment verification you can fill up application form. You will require to keep ready information such as name,date of birth, your photo, signature.
AP EAMCET – 2017 (Engineering) Exam will be organized in morning session from 10-00 A.M. to 1-00 P.M. for Courses

Students who want to apply for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) course should take “National Aptitude Test in Architecture” (NATA) an online exam conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

Admit Card/Hall ticket
You can download the admit card/Hall ticket from official website http://www.apeamcet.org/ in the 3rd week of April 2017. You should keep with you Hall Ticket along with Filled in Online Application Form. The Hall Ticket should be affixed recent colour passport size photograph and attested by Gazetted Officer (or) the Principal of the College where candidate has studied the qualifying examination. However, on the Filled In Online Application form, Signature of the candidate and Left Hand Thumb impression is to be filled in the respective spaces provided in the presence of Invigilator only.
AP EAMCET 2017 Exam Pattern / Syllabus
ENGINEERING: There will be one question paper of 3 hrs duration. The question paper will contain 160 questions of 1 mark each. The questions will be objective type. The distribution of questions is given here: Physics: 40 questions, Chemistry: 40 questions, Mathematics: 80 questions.
AGRICULTURE AND MEDICAL: This entrance test is also of 3 hour duration and only objective type questions will be asked. The question paper will consists of a total 160 questions. The distribution of questions is given here: Physics: 40 questions, Chemistry: 40 questions, Biology: 80 questions (Botany 40 & Zoology 40)
The medium of question paper will be in “English” and “Telugu” medium. Candidates, who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium will be allotted a Test Centre only at Kurnool. The Test will be Pen/Paper based i.e. using OMR sheets.

The result along with Ranking are supposed to be announced in the 1st week of May 2017.
You can download your Rank Card from the official website in the 1st week of May 2017 after declaration of result.
The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in AP EAMCET-2017 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe,
shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving
- 75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET-2017 and
- 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
