AP EAMCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria or requirements for eligibility

ELIGIBILITY  FOR AP EAMCET (ENGINEERING)

Students interested in taking admission into professional courses of Government / private colleges of Andhra Pradesh need to appear in AP EAMCET. Students should check their eligibility before applying for the Test.
Students shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET-2017, if they satisfy the following requirements:
1. Student should be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
2. Student should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Check your local / non-local status in Annexure3.
3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AP EAMCET – 2017 For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc.[Commercial Agriculture and Business Management (CA & BM)] courses:
(X) (i) Minimum Educational Qualification: Student should have passed or appeared for the 12th exam (10+2 pattern) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
(ii) Student should have secured in the qualifying examination min. 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together .

OR
Student should have passed or appeared at the final year exam of the Diploma in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent.

3. For Pharm-D course, student should have have passed or appeared for the 12th exam (10+2 pattern) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
or
should have passed or appeared at the final year exam of the Diploma in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and training.

(Y) Age Limit: a) In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, min. age should be 16 years as on 31st December.
b) In the case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), min. age should be 17 years as on 31st December. upper age limit is 22 years (25 yrs for SC / ST Students) as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

(c) The student should have min. age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission to the Pharm-D course.

ELIGIBILITY  FOR AP EAMCET (AGRICULTURE AND MEDICAL)– 2017

Candidates should fulfil the following requirements:
1. Student should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
2. Student should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Read Annexure 3 above.
3. A. For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) courses:
Student should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class or any other recognized examination with any two / three of the subjects indicated against
each course noted below:
With any two of the subjects:
a). B.Sc.(Ag.)

i. Physical Sciences
ii. Biological or Natural Sciences
iii. Agriculture
iv. Vocational Course in Agriculture

b). B.Sc.(Hort) same as above

c). B.V.Sc. & A.H

i. Physical sciences
ii. Biological or Natural Sciences
iii. Vocational Courses in Veterinary Sciences

d). B.F.Sc.

i. Physical Sciences
ii. Biological or Natural Sciences
iii. Vocational Courses in Fishery Sciences

e). B.Tech. (FS & T)

i. Mathematics
ii. Physical Sciences
or
i. Physical Sciences
ii. Biological or Natural sciences

f). B.Sc.(CA & BM)

i. Mathematics
ii. Physical Sciences

ii. Biological or Natural Sciences

Note: i) However, student interested taking admission to the above courses should appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology in AP EAMCET -2017.(AM Category).
ii) Candidates should have min age of  17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years (25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates).

3. B. For MBBS / BDS Courses:
i. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% (40% SC / ST Students) marks taken together in PCB.
ii. Student should have minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

3. C. For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses:
i. Student should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subject.
ii. Candidates should have minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. no upper age limit.

3. D. For B. Pharm Course:
i. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class with Biology, Physics and
Chemistry.
ii. Candidates should have minimum 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be
notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit

3. E. For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) Course:
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class with Biology, Physics and
Chemistry.

3. F. For Pharm-D Course:
i. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and
Biology.

or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
ii. The candidates should have minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course.
