C-DAC’s PG Diploma Courses and Eligibility Criteria

Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG Diploma Courses of C-DAC

Candidate should be a graduate in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc Engg / AMIE / DoEACC B Level) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.
OR
He/ she should have Post Graduate Degree in Engineering Sciences with corresponding basic degree (e.g. MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics)
Apart from common eligibility criteria mentioned above, candidates with the course-specific qualifications mentioned in Table given here are also eligible for the particular courses. Minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is given in the Table. The minimum percentage of marks will be considered as per the norms of the university from where the candidate has graduated.

As per CDAC Eligibilty Criteria there is no age restriction for admission to C-DAC’s PG Diploma courses. Students those are appeared/will be appearing for the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2016 are also eligible for admission. After qualifying in CAT December 2016, these students can apply for provisional admission in February 2017 batch.They will be given provisional admission subject to the conditions that (a) All parts of their qualifying degree examination shall be completed by the date of joining the course, and (b) Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with at least the required minimum marks shall be submitted at C-DAC by 31 May 2017.

Course Fee

The fee for all PG Diploma courses is Rs. 80,000/- + service tax and cess as applicable at the time of payments. The fee for PG Diploma in Big Data Analytics (PG DBDA) is Rs 1 lakh + service tax and cess. These courses are full-time courses of 24-week duration.
